INTEGRATED PRODUCT DESIGN

ABOUT THE COURSE

IPD is a course that explores the process of creating a successful new product, surrounding the domain of improving wellness through an IoT lens. Students from Babson College, Olin College of Engineering, and Mass Art work cross functionally to deliver a well-researched market and product opportunity along with a product design prototype.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

We looked at identifying problems in the domain of wellness through an Internet of Things lens. After a phase of exploration, our team narrowed our focus into tackling water contamination that occurs in storm drain systems.
